I once had to wait for forty minutes when it was snowing for a black cab to arrive. I travel all over the UK with business and rely heavily on there being black cabs at the train station.  I once had to wait for forty minutes when it was snowing for a black cab to arrive.  Now I just ring 118 TAXI when I am on the train and book a cab to wait for me outside the train station.  It means I can concentrate on more important things and saves me a lot of time.
